On Friday, December 23rd, President Biden signed HR 2617, the Consolidated Appropriation Bill for FY 2023, into law. Among its many provisions was Division AA, Title V, The Small Business Mergers, Acquisitions, Sales & Brokerage Simplification Act of 2021. This was a monumental achievement for our industry after decades of hard work and support by the Business Intermediary Education Foundation (BIEF) and many individual people. The Central Florida BBF would like to invite you to our Educational Luncheon Meeting on Wednesday January 18th at Dubsdread Golf Course and Country Club in Orlando. We have a fantastic program scheduled which I know you will be interested in.
Join us for our panel discussion with 4 brokers who have over 150 years of combined Business Brokerage experience. Together they have made a living through recessions, stock market turbulence, high interest rates, slumps, inflation, COVID, and Political turmoil. Come listen to Bert Risdon, John Hoyt, Brian Bateson, and Lou Vescio navigate through history to help us be best prepared for the unknown future. This is where you need to be on January 18 to kick- off 2023 with a plan for success.
You’ll also want to join us for a fantastic lunch. Networking will begin at 10:30 am with our program starting at 11:00 am sharp on January 18, 2023, and lunch will be served at 12 noon. We will have a short meeting during lunch which will give you the opportunity to share your listings with our fellow Business Brokers.
We will be meeting at Dubsdread Golf Course and Country Club located at: 549 West Par Street, Orlando, FL 32804.
