Chef Kevin Weinberg is a celebrated chef and restaurateur with more than 50 years of experience spanning Europe, the Caribbean, Asia, Australia, and the United States. After honing his craft at the California Culinary Academy and under esteemed mentors such as Albert Tordjman, Kevin built a career defined by culinary exploration, innovation, and leadership, including opening nine restaurants in Sydney and directing multiple international kitchens. In 1997, he and longtime partner Ellen McCarty realized their dream with the opening of Walnut Creek Yacht Club, which quickly became a Bay Area dining institution recognized for its award-winning seafood, wine program, and hospitality. Named Best Chef by Diablo Magazine and Walnut Creek Magazine, Kevinā€™s legacy is one of passion, creativity, and dedication to the art of fine dining, leaving an indelible mark on the culinary community.
