Topic: 2018 SBA Updates from Ili R. Spahiu, MSF, Lead Lender Relations Specialist, Massachusetts District Office, U.S. Small Business Administration
Ili R. Spahiu joined the U.S. Small Business Administration, Massachusetts District Office in June 2015. He brings a wealth of knowledge from the private sector, having worked forvarious banks, credit unions and alternative lenders, most recently with RCAP Solutions, Inc. an SBA micro lending intermediary, where he was the Portfolio Manager, responsible for small business development since 2012. While at RCAP, Ili worked primarily with women, minority and immigrant-owned businesses, providing technical assistance and capital to startups and existing businesses looking to grow and expand. Ili supervises the Capital Access field operations team and is responsible for all SBA lending activity in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is the point of contact for SBA participating lenders in the Massachusetts and charged with the task of expanding the network of lending institutions that offer SBA loan programs. Ili provides lender training on various SBA topics and works closely with SBA’s Office of Credit Risk Management on lender oversight and program compliance.

The Central Chapter meets regularly on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 9:00am to 10:30am.
