Wondering how the new tax laws will affect your business? Three certified public accountants will discuss how tax law changes will affect businesses, individuals and business valuations during the March 27 meeting of the Georgia Association of Business Brokers.
The three accountants will also answer questions posed by those who attend the March 27 monthly meeting of the GABB, the state’s only association of professionals who work to facilitate the purchase and sale of businesses and franchises. The GABB meets at 10:30 a.m. at the Atlanta Realtors Center at 5784 Lake Forrest Dr. NW, Atlanta, GA 30328. The meeting will be preceded by a free breakfast and networking session sponsored by corporate attorney Germaine Curtin.

EPI Exit Planning Awareness Event

You are cordially invited to join the EPI in an Exit Planning Awareness Event. Within the next 20 years, in excess of 90 million people in the United States and Canada will be retiring (the baby boomer generation born between 1946 and 1964). It is estimated that one of every two privately held businesses will transition during this period, representing in excess of $10 trillion in wealth, the largest wealth transfer in the history of mankind.
The purpose of the EPI Long Island Chapter is to create a forum where the local community of professional advisors can collaborate to address unique needs of the local community; develop educational programs for business owners and professional advisors to build awareness and better prepare an owner for the successful exit of their business; develop, encourage and foster the adoption of best practices for the exit planning profession; and promote the common business interests of those business advisors engaged in the profession of exit planning.
