CABB 501- Advanced Business Brokerage Forum

September 21, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Online

CABB is dedicated to providing the best education for business brokers and intermediaries and has developed a wide range of courses on various topics that will help you provide value to your clients and manage your practice. Our educational courses are developed and taught by subject matter experts who are also practitioners.

This 1-day, 6-hour course is a unique opportunity to participate in an open forum discussion with Veteran Business Brokers who do business in California. It reinforces the idea that CBB’s are the true professionals in our field and that we can always learn from each other. Since all attendees are experienced CBB’s we encourage all of you to come to the class prepared to participate so we can all benefit from the group’s experience. Veteran Business Brokers who have taken this class have commented on how valuable it was to interact with other professionals in our industry and to get updated on current, relevant issues in our profession.

Sonesta Charlotte Executive Park, 5700 Westpark Drive, Charlotte, NC 28217

Welcome to the 2021 CVBBA Annual Conference!

After a most unusual last 18 months, we are excited to get together in person for our 2021 CVBBA Annual Conference in Charlotte, NC. To be successful in this industry, you need experience, knowledge, patience and education. At this conference, we have more education events than ever before. And more social events and time to get to know each other, so we can enhance or create new relationships with those in the CVBBA.
Put simply, within the CVBBA we are excited to be MOVING FORWARD with you at this conference.

Our industry is changing. The pandemic has forced all of us to use more technology, work remotely and be more efficient. The economy has gone through some real challenges in the last 18 months and so have our clients. What additional changes lie ahead? We will explore the latest trends in technology that are impacting our industry. We will be having a variety of educational workshops to help us better navigate these times. We are not alone in this journey and we will provide an environment where we can all talk and learn from each other, while staying up to date on the latest trends and activities in getting our transactions over the finish line.

We can’t wait to see you at the 2021 CVBBA Annual Conference. Together we will keep MOVING FORWARD.

We will be having our monthly meeting on Wed September 22nd from 11:30 to 1 pm. This month we will have a roundtable discussion regarding Seller Preparation and Qualifying. I think it will be interesting to understand how other brokers and lenders approach this subject.

The meeting will be at the Petroleum Club in San Antonio (7th floor – 8620 N New Braunfels Ave, Ste 700). Cost is $30 for members and $35 for non-members for one of the best lunches in town. (Cash or checks only)

Please RSVP via email to me by next Friday 5 pm the 17th of September. We will have one more meeting in October for the year where several people from the UTSA SBDC will be presenting about their service offerings to the community. That will be Oct 27th and the final meeting of the year due to the Holidays.

Take care and be safe.

Thanks
