By having a better understanding of the legal aspects and attorney viewpoints, brokers will be in a position to (a) foresee potential issues before they arise, (b) have more informed conversations with attorneys which may help them save transactions from “death by lawyer”, (c) be able to better represent their clients by identifying and addressing issues that may create unwanted legal liability, (d) preserve and protect their broker fees, and (e) avoid litigation and stay out of court.
