In this webinar, Glen began a new 7-part webinar series. In this first webinar introduction to the series, he offered us:
1) A discussion of How to Predict the Future. Yes, there is a way! But, there’s a little history here. The history of “Trends.” Also, Glen’s personal history of predicting trends.
2) Five Fundamental Tools that we need to predict our future. It’s not good enough that Glen can predict the future. He wants to teach us all! And, of course, Glen has some tools. Just like he always does.
3) A detailed discussion of what predicting the future actually means for us.
4) A summary of the “latest wrinkles” and potential disruptors. For example: “How will Chatbox GPT affect us?” Do you even know what that is!?
Predicting the future frightens most of us. We don’t want to be caught with a bad prediction!
From the moment we engage our seller prospects in initial meetings, until we work with our seller clients and their professional advisors at the closing, we need to be thinking of just how a buyer is going to buy the business we’re selling. Everything we do would be made better if we could predict the future. Right?
Perhaps the most important element is that we have to keep it simple, so that everyone understands why we’re doing what we’re doing, especially us! We also need to keep a sharp eye out for disruptors!
