Communication Breakthrough: using DISC to reach your audience

Our individual behavioral styles are comprised of a combination of 4 factors: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Compliance. The 4 components work together to create a “behavioral makeup” that is unique to every individual. A person may have one or two dominant characteristics that are easily identifiable, but it is the combination of all factors – high or low – that determines how we respond to challenges, opportunities, changes or rules.
We will introduce the 4 factors, and how each influences emotion, decision-making, teamwork, and the workplace. We will review tips for recognizing different behavioral styles and flexing our own behavior in order to communicate clearly and effectively. At the end of this session, we should all have a basic knowledge of DISC styles and strategies for engaging people of various DISC profiles.
