General Meeting

GABB’s General Meetings begin at 10:30am and are preceded at 10:00 by a free light breakfast and networking session. The meetings will last from approximately 10:30 to somewhere between 11:30 and noon.
Our meetings begin with guest and member introductions of name, company and what you do, not a networking or elevator minute. After introductions, we have a 30-minute presentation by either a panel or a speaker and then some time for questions. After the presentation we’ll have a few items of association business and then adjourn the meeting.

We are extremely pleased to welcome Allen Thomas as our keynote speaker this year. Allen Thomas is the Regional Administrator of the SBA’s Southeast Region – AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, TN. He is a former three-term mayor, businessman, entrepreneur, and leader in public and private enterprise. As the mayor of Greenville North Carolina, Mr. Thomas led the post-recession recovery, rapid expansion, and robust economic growth, better connecting the city and region.
