It’s that time of the month where we get together for a “brain thrust”, put our thinking caps on and discuss challenges, success and the ongoing puzzles of our complicated industry.
When a business buyer has interest in purchasing a business they will often run into significant collateral short fall as most businesses do not include real estate in the sale. The best financing facility to utilize is SBA financing but SBA financing requires a certain amount of liquidity. The ROBS Program is an IRS-approved option whereby 401k or retirement funds may be utilized “penalty free” for the purpose of acquiring a business.
Suzy Granger of national service provider Guidant will join via Zoom Conference during our Mastermind Meeting to discuss and provide insight to this very valuable option. Suzy is very well-versed in this program and is an asset to the business brokerage industry.
