Emily is the Founder and CEO of Boichik Bagels, begun as a pop up in 2017 and is now 10 shops in California plus wholesale. The bagels have been acclaimed by no less than the New York Times as arguably better than those found in New York. She has degrees in mechanical engineering and transportation technology and policy from Cornell and UC Davis, and calls herself a bagel engineer.
