Adam Duggins started his career in acquisition entrepreneurship back in 2013. At the time, he was just focused on finding a single business to buy, and he met with literally 650 people in his city to make that a reality. The first business he bought was a structural steel fabricator with about $12m in sales. Flash forward, and Adam — alongside partner Rick Ramsey — have built a holdco of 4 businesses in North Carolina’s Triad region. Their portfolio does $75m in annual revenue across the 4 companies of 220 employees. This is Adam’s story.
